Google have made a statement recently urging people to print their photos instead of storing them on their mobile phones saying that in 10 years time there will be no history of images for future generations to look at.
Everyone assumes that because photos are stored on mobile phones that they are there for ever, but phones are easily lost and stolen - together with all your precious images of friends and family - and who knows whether any software will be able to view a JPG image in 10 years time (do you have any devices in your home that can play an audio cassette?).
The only safe way to ensure that future generations will be able to look back at the things we did is to have a physical print of your important images, and an album or printed photobook is a great way to do this!
